THE SURE SMILE TECHNIQUE

SureSmile Aligners are an orthodontic treatment that gradually straightens your teeth using removable, custom-made clear aligners. SureSmile follows the same biomechanical principles as traditional orthodontics with braces and/or brackets. The difference with this method, which is also its key advantage, is that it allows for the planning of virtual tooth movements in advance.

Indeed, after digital scanning of your teeth, photographs and x-rays, an individualized treatment plan will allow you to visualize your treatment and the final result in 3D. You will thus be able to see the movement of your teeth from the first to the last aligner.

Once the treatment plan is defined, each aligner is manufactured by vacuum thermoforming from a unique resin model.

HOW LONG DOES THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT LAST?

IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?

The treatment is largely painless.

However, a feeling of pressure may be experienced at the beginning of treatment or when changing aligners.

This discomfort usually lasts 24 to 48 hours and diminishes over the course of the treatment.
